Site Info

Northumberland Hills supplies scenic and seasonal wonders that are a surprise and delight. No wonder so many Canadian artists inhabit the Hills. This website is dedicated to revealing the many artists, and the groups/collectives they belong to and the wonders of the Northumberland Hills that they help reveal. These groups in turn sponsor some wonderful events which will be featured from time to time on thios site. Currently the website features crafted arts and artists. But in time it will also include performing arts and artist to be found in the Hills.

Notice to Artists

Three things you should know about the website. First, if you are on the website but would like to be removed – send an email note to jbsurveyer@gmail.com. Likewise, if you are not on and would like to be included, send an email with name, website address if used, and 2-5 pictures of your works [ideal size is 800px by 600px and note any or all will be used]

Second, the images of art used are small and protected from easy theft. But as seen in this article, there are no foolproof ways of protecting your images on the Web. The article describes some of the measure taken on this website and what additional measures, notably watermarking, you may want to take.

Third, the artist image grid is random – each time it is displayed a new line up of artists is shown. So as much as possible nobody is favored.
